Will there be any meets around the midlands?
I shall (hopefully) been on the winter cumbrian mountain express from Manchester to Carlisle. Should receive my tickets in a few weeks! Hope anyone else will manage to join! And I may be taking a visit to the ELR steam weekend, but unsure at this moment in time

Rumours are that the 5's won't be pulling it since the date has been moved. That's ruins the entire point of the WCME for me. 
48 gets re-wheeled tomorrow
Riley's confirmed his girls will be ready for the tour, there currently in winter maintenance but 45407 will be ready next week and 44871 will be ready in time for the ELR gala and then both of them head the WCME. The date changed quite a while ago because I booked my tickets in June and the date was 28th january then. Still would have been nice to have the tour between christmas and new year
